This beautiful building is situated within the grounds of Newstead Abbey. It is the old stable block. built in 1862-3 by M. E. Hadfield for the Webbs. It is in the stunning Gothic and picturesque design.
I am lucky enough to be able to visit there on a regular basis. The grounds and Newstead abbey itself are breathtaking and a personal favourite of mine.
I tried to capture its beauty using acrylics on a canvas board, which is a first for me. I am relatively new to using acrylic paints and i have only used canvas boards twice. I will however, be using them a lot more in the future, as i find the beautiful to work on.
